Northern Painters’ team of professionally trained craftspeople is what sets us apart from the rest. Each of our painters is either an apprentice or a qualified journeyman who have been trained at the Ontario Industrial Finishing Trades Centre. They have completed long-term classroom sessions and on-the-job training, providing them with in-depth expertise and skills. BONDED AND INSURED
Northern Painters has a comprehensive bonding facility that assures clients that we’re a financially stable company and has all the resources in place to handle their projects from start to finish. Such a facility can be established only when a surety company performs detailed credit and financial audits thereby ensuring customers that our bids are always accurate and complete, and that their projects will be completed as per their specifications. We also maintain a general liability and automobile insurance policy to cover our employees and customers against any unlikely events that might occur during a project. Whenever needed, we can provide the copies of our Certificate of Insurance and also accommodate requests from customers to add them as ‘additional insured.’

Because there’s so much more that goes in to a successful painting project than the painting itself, Northern Painters has a team in place to support the administrative needs of our clients. This team consists of individuals from diverse professional backgrounds, each bringing in their own experience and expertise. HEALTH AND SAFETY
Northern Painters makes the health and safety of our employees, our customers’ employees, and the general public a top priority. A key component of our Health & Safety Program is the ongoing training of our craftspeople to constantly ensure the best safety practices are being followed and that they are up to date on the latest policies and procedures. Some of the health and safety training courses that our craftspeople are required to attend include WHIMIS, Fall Protection, Suspended Access Equipment, Confined Space and Lead Abatement. Being well trained and highly skilled further ensures the safest possible work environment for all.
As a result of our commitment to safety, Northern Painters has an exceptional record with the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board. We are proud to have a “lost time accidents” occurrence well below the industry average. Our WSIB Current Clearance Certificates are always available to our clients, either on-line or by fax from our office.
